BOOM! STUDIOS UNVEILS FINAL REGULAR SHOW #1 COVERS

BOOM! Studios is thrilled to reveal the final covers for REGULAR SHOW #1, an all-new, all-ages ongoing comic book series based on Cartoon Network’s Emmy® Award-winning series created by J.G. Quintel. Initial orders for the first issue, which ships in April, were the highest of any KaBOOM! series to date.

Cartoon Network’s powerhouse series will debut its first comic book series next month,hot on the heels of KaBOOM!’s smash hit adaptation of another popular Cartoon Network comedy series, ADVENTURE TIME!  The new comics will follow the antics of Mordecai, a blue jay, and Rigby, a raccoon, a couple of best bros in their twenties just tryin’ to chill for a bit, man. But when you’re livin’ in as crazy a world as they are, no day can be called...regular!

The highly-anticipated series will be written by web cartoonist KC Green (GUNSHOW) and illustrated by newcomer Allison Strejlau. MERLE DIXON - Left for the dead in Season 1 by Rick and the rest of the survivors,  Merle Dixon, the estranged brother of Daryl Dixon, make his full return in Season 3 and this time he is re-armed and ready for action! This action-figure comes with 20 points of articulation, prosthetic arm with bayonet, assault rifle, pistol and knife.


 

AUTOPSY ZOMBIE - In a desperate attempt to find Sophia, the Autopsy Zombie becomes another victim of Daryl’s crossbow. In one of the most gruesome and riveting scenes from the series, Rick and Daryl perform an autopsy on this newly fed zombie to find out the contents of his stomach. Zombie includes a knife and removable shirt to reveal either a partially digested hand and/or woodchuck carcass!

 

MICHONNE’S ZOMBIE PET 1 -Connected directly to Michonne’s past, she has rendered both these walkers harmless by removing their bottom jaw and arms. Now that both Pets are somewhat subdued, she puts them to good use as pack mules and zombie repellant. Both Pets come with removable backpacks, neck chain leash, arms and bottom jaw. As an added bonus, Pet 1’s backpack comes with a removable shotgun.

BOOM! STUDIOS & REGULAR SHOW COME TO WONDERCON 2013

BOOM! Studios is thrilled to return for another appearance at WonderCon 2013 taking place Friday, March 29th through Sunday, March 31st.

Attendees of this years show will have a chance to get a first look at the REGULAR SHOW comic series. The REGULAR SHOW Preview Book will be available exclusively at the BOOM! booth ( #1019) almost a full month before the first issue will be in stores. The Preview Book includes a preview of the first issue by K.C. Green (GUNSHOW) and Allison Strejlau along with a four-page short story written and illustrated by Brian Butler and colored by Maarta Laiho. Rounding out the Preview issue will be a look at the covers from REGULAR SHOW! The 24-page limited edition preview will be sold for $4.99.

BOOM! Studios is proud to be partnering with apparel manufacturer, Fifth Son, to give away 100 REGULAR SHOW t-shirts all three days of WonderCon to promote the new KaBOOM! comic series and Fifth Sun's new line of REGULAR SHOW t-shirts.

Rounding out the weekend, writer Sam Humphries (FANBOYS VS ZOMBIES, HIGHER EARTH) will appear at our booth (#1019) for a signing at 4pm on Saturday, March 30th.

Warm Bodies Comes to Life on Blu-ray/DVD June 4th

A funny new twist on a classic love story, Warm Bodies is a poignant tale about the power of human connection. Nickelodeon Debuts All-new Series, Rocket Monkeys

Nickelodeon's newest series, Rocket Monkeys, is a flat out funny cartoon. The humor reminded me of Ren and Stimpy (that's a good thing!). Check it out on Nickelodeon!

 

 

 

Rocket Monkeys introduces the universe to brothers Gus and Wally. Inexplicably charged with carrying out all kinds of important missions, these hapless monkeynauts tend to cause more intergalactic calamity than they could ever prevent. Luckily they have plenty of help from YAY-OK, their dashing and devoted (if slightly outdated) robot. Gus and Wally may not have the brainpower of the Rocket Chickens or the guts of the Cosmosloths, but they do have a hunger for adventure -- and by “adventure” we mostly mean “bananas.”

Doctor Who to Return with 'The Bells of St John'

Doctor Who is to return to BBC One on 30 March in a modern day urban thriller announced today as 'The Bells of St John', as the first official image is revealed giving fans a sneak peak at what to expect from the epic new series.

Written by Steven Moffat, 'The Bells of St John' will mark the official introduction of the Doctor's newest companion, Clara Oswald, played by Jenna-Louise Coleman. Having already made two appearances last year, the opening episode will be the first time fans get to see the Clara that will accompany the Doctor across the series' eight adventures.
Set in London against the backdrop of new and old iconic landmarks, The Shard and Westminster Bridge, 'The Bells of St John' will also establish a new nemesis, the Spoonheads, who will battle the Doctor as he discovers something sinister is lurking in the Wi-Fi.
Steven Moffat, executive producer and lead writer, said:
"It's the 50th year of Doctor Who and look what's going on! We're up in the sky and under the sea! We're running round the rings of an alien world and then a haunted house.
