Dark Matter Coming to Apple TV+

Apple TV+ unveiled the trailer for its new sci-fi thriller “Dark Matter” starring Joel Edgerton alongside Academy Award® winner Jennifer Connelly, Alice Braga, Jimmi Simpson, Dayo Okeniyi and Oakes Fegley. Based on the blockbuster book by New York Times bestselling author Blake Crouch, the new, nine-episode Apple Original series will premiere globally on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes on Wednesday, May 8, on Apple TV+, followed by one new episode every Wednesday through June 26, 2024.

Hailed as one of the best sci-fi novels of the decade, “Dark Matter” is a story about the road not taken. The series will follow Jason Dessen (played by Edgerton), a physicist, professor, and family man who — one night while walking home on the streets of Chicago — is abducted into an alternate version of his life. Wonder quickly turns to nightmare when he tries to return to his reality amid the mind-bending landscape of lives he could have lived. In this labyrinth of realities, he embarks on a harrowing journey to get back to his true family and save them from the most terrifying, unbeatable foe imaginable: himself.

Crouch serves as creator, executive producer, showrunner and writer alongside executive producers Matt Tolmach and David Manpearl for Matt Tolmach Productions. Edgerton also serves as executive producer. “Dark Matter” is produced for Apple TV+ by Sony Pictures Television.

When Queen returned for the fourth time to Montreal’s 18,000-seat Forum in November 1981, where this concert was recorded, it was after a 15-month absence during which they became the biggest band in the world. Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment Honors The “Real” Indiana Jones In Celebration of Final Chapter of Iconic Film Franchise

With the upcoming release of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny on 4K, Blu-ray and DVD, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment was determined to find an individual who shares the name with cinema’s greatest adventurer. Yesterday, Kennedy Catholic High School’s own Patrick Henry “Indiana” Jones was surprised by the studio with a trip to New York City, one of the key settings for the film in the legendary hero archaeologist’s final adventure. Located in Seattle, WA, Kennedy Catholic has had an incredible football season led by Jones who was named North Puget Sound League Football “Player of the Year.” The presentation of the trip took place at a pep rally assembly at the school before their next playoff game against Lake Stevens.

“100%. Super surpised. It was pretty crazy” said Jones of the trip he and his family was gifted. “We usually do pep assemblies but I had no idea until they called my name.” Regarding the football season and his “Player of the Year” honor, Jones added “I worked hard in the offseason, my teammates helped me a lot, the coaches helped me all year. We have been working hard.”
