MIKE CAREY’S SUICIDE RISK #1 SELLS OUT GOES TO SECOND PRINT

BOOM! Studios is proud to announce that SUICIDE RISK, the first original ongoing series from an independent publisher by Eisner Award-nominated author Mike Carey (X-MEN, THE UNWRITTEN) has sold out at the distributor level and the publisher had to rush to a second printing.
Comic book fans should keep in mind first printings of SUICIDE RISK #1 may still be found at the local comic shop nearest you. Not sure where to find your nearest comic retailer? Use www.comicshoplocator.com to find one!
Super-powered people are inexplicably rising from the streets and there's a big problem: Too many supervillains, not enough superheroes. Heroes are dying, and cops are dying twofold. Humanity is under-powered and good people are suffering untold tragedies trying to stem the flow. Beat cop Leo Winters is one of those struggling to make a difference. And the answer just might come in the form of two lowlifes with a dark secret. Joining Carey is rising artistic star Elena Casagrande (HULK, HACK/SLASH) and cover artists Tommy Lee Edwards (Marvel’s 1985, TURF) and Stephanie Hans (TALES TO ASTONISH). SUICIDE RISK is a high octane, mind-bending series created by one of the industry's greatest storytellers.

SUICIDE RISK #1 second print ships with a must-have all new cover by Garry Brown (INCORRUPTIBLE, THE MASSIVE) with a retail price of $3.99.

DC Gives He-Man a "Dramatic New Look"

DC Comics has unveiled a new look for He-Man:

"In the epic war against the forces of Hordak ripping through the pages of the current series, He-Man must don the sacred armor of his ancestors. While fans may be surprised by this turn of events, this dynamic direction for one of the world’s best-known heroes is firmly rooted in the classic legacy of MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE. After all, so long as you stay true to the core concepts, it’s always exciting to explore new possibilities, right?"
