Bungie and McFarlane Toys Partner For Destiny Figures

In a collaboration of legendary proportions, McFarlane Toys is proud to announce that it is once again partnering with Bungie this time to create Guardian action figures for Destiny, scheduled for release this summer.

Developed by Bungie and published by Activision, Destiny is a first-person action shooter that features cinematics storytelling alongside cooperative and competitive gameplay. Players create a unique character and become legend through completing a series of shared activities in a social world. Destiny has entertained a legion of engaged players across more than 30 million unique accounts since its initial release in September 2014.

Best known for attention to detail and immense creativity, McFarlane Toys has produced action figures and construction sets for some of the biggest properties in the entertainment industry for over 20 years. This upcoming partnership with the creators of Destiny will not only continue that tradition but expand on it. Fans of the emerging action franchise can look forward to a new selection of game-accurate action figures, 10-inch figures, and role play items.

McFarlane Toys' initial wave of Destiny toys will include fully articulated figures that depict Guardian Classes, including the Titan, Hunter, and Warlock. These figures will debut in new window box collector packaging and will come with a Destiny branded detailed base.

"Detail, depth, and customization, that's what Destiny gives its players, and that's what made it the biggest new video game franchise launch" said Todd McFarlane, Owner and CEO of McFarlane Toys. "With our upcoming Destiny line, fans can expect that same amount of detail and customization that we have built our own reputation on."

McFarlane Toys'™ Destiny figures will be available at major retailers this July carrying an MSRP: $19.99. McFarlane Toys Teams with Gears of War

Legendary comic book and toy creator Todd McFarlane announced today that his company, McFarlane Toys has partnered with one of the gaming industry's hottest properties, Gears of War, to produce a line of highly collectible action figures.  Known for its gritty, gory, hyper realistic gameplay, Microsoft's Gears of War has been an Xbox staple for nearly a decade.  The franchise revolutionized cover-based combat, and drew millions of Xbox Live users in with its addictive multiplayer.  One of the most anticipated video games of the year, Gears of War 4 is slated to release Holiday 2016, exclusively on Xbox One.

McFarlane Toys is well known for producing excellent figures in the gaming genre, and currently produce and hold the action figure license for the Halo, and Assassin's Creed franchises.  The Gears of War figures will be based on the upcoming Gears of War 4 video game and will be a part of McFarlane's new 2016 Collector Box Program. The figures will stand a full seven inches tall, have an average of fifteen points of articulation for incredible poses and play action and feature game accurate accessories and weapons.  The Gears of War 4 action figures will boast the same meticulous level of detail that McFarlane has become known for over the last two decades.

"The game does such a great job of giving these characters big dynamic personalities." said Todd McFarlane, Creative Director and CEO of McFarlane Toys. "We're going to make sure all that personality gets represented in the action figures."

The Gears of War 4 action figures will be available at major retail locations beginning Fall of 2016.  Fans of both McFarlane Toys and Gears of War can check www.mcfarlane.com and the McFarlane Toys social media channels for updates and news.

Unboxing December's Loot Crate: Galaxy

Loot Crate finished 2015 strong and fucking killed it with their December box. When they announced that the theme would be 'Galaxy,' it was pretty obvious that Star Wars would be involved. When they announced that there would be an exclusive POP! included, it was already a win for me. When I finally received my crate, I was definitely one happy Looter.

This crate gave us TWO exclusive Star Wars items this month- a pair of BB-8 crew socks and an Episode VII Han Solo (Snow Gear) Funko POP! vinyl bobble-head! The exclusives didn't stop there, because we also got a Halo 5 tin box, an Ugly Holiday Sweater T-Shirt, and an authentic Galaxy Quest prop replica patch. Rounding out the box were a metallic gold Loot Crate button, a copy of LC Magazine and a Halo 5: Guardians REQ Pack DLC.
