Unboxing February's Loot Crate: Protect

This month's Loot Crate ties into the release of Black Panther with the theme "Protect." With rumors swirling about the troubles Loot Crate is having, coupled with shipping delays and the fact that I'm giving away more items than I'm keeping, this may be my last crate. With that said, this crate was a bit of  let down. The franchises, Black Panther, Pacific Rim, How to Train Your Dragon, Fallout, and The Expanse actually aren't a bad line-up. Unfortunately, I was only a fan of the shirt in this month's box.

First up was the exclusive Black Panther T-shirt with art by Chris Visions. The hype for this film made the addition of the shirt even more awesome. Right now anything MCU-related has me throwing all the money at it.

Next up was an exclusive replica of the Rocinante ship from "The Expanse." I've never been a fan of these types of items, so it's going to be passed on to a fan. That being said, it looks good and for those that are fans, I'm sure this was a cool addition to the crate.

Pacific Rim 2 is hitting theaters this year, so including it in the "Protect" box makes sense. The exclusive coaster set is useful if not a bit "meh." Give us something with giant robots or Kaiju!

Fallout fans received an art print with art by Ilya Nazarov in this month's crate.

Finally, this month's pin is from How to Train Your Dragon.

Inside this month's Loot Crate:

-Black Panther T-Shirt (Marvel)
-The Expanse Rocinante Ship Replica (Alcon Entertainment/Loot Crate)
-Pacific Rim Coaster Set (Insight Editions)
-Fallout 4 Art Print (Bethesda Softworks)
-How to Train Your Dragon Pin (Loot Crate)
