Unboxing July's Loot Crate: Futuristic

This month's Loot Crate theme was "Futuristic." When it was announced which franchises would be included, I decided to take a shot on it, even though I wasn't really a fan of half of them. I had never seen Rick and Morty (though I hear good things about it), and I'll watch Futurama from time to time, but don't necessarily love it. Others included in the box were Mega Man, Star Trek, and Valiant Comics.

First up was a Rick and Morty T-Shirt. I haven't seen the show, so unfortunately I have no clue what the shirt is all about. Next was a copy of Valiant Comics' 4001 A.D. #1 with a Loot Crate exclusive variant cover. Loot Crate also included a handy "Valiant Comics Reading Guide" in this month's magazine for newbies to the Valiant Universe.

Next in the box, Futurama fans got an exclusive "Planet Express" ship model from QMX. It's definitely a nice piece, but not a huge fan, so this is going to someone who'll appreciate it. I did really dig the next item, an exclusive 3" Mega Man red variant figure from Kid Robot! I loved Mega Man 2 when I was younger and would play for hours, so this was awesome.

The last three items included made this Star Trek fan very happy. First was an exclusive 4.5x3" Star Trek Dedication Plaque replica decal. It's "repositionable," so you can move it around if you ever wanted to. Next was a "Live Long and Prosper" Loot Pin! It's an awesome pin that I'm definitely going to be keeping for myself! Lastly, Loot Crate was awesome enough to include an exclusive "Starfleet Admiral's Commission Pack" (a $50 value) for the Star Trek Online game. The pack includes "ships, weapons, boosts, and more!"
