As just announced by The New York Times, this October,
KaBOOM! will publish Peanuts: A Tribute to Charles M. Schulz, a 112-page
hardcover that celebrates the 65th anniversary of the beloved title and will
collect contributions from over 25 artists from the worlds of comic strips,
comic books, and webcomics. Each contributor pays a unique tribute to Schulz
and the Peanuts gang with a piece of off-model Peanuts art, along with a short
essay. Creators revealed in the Times piece include Jen Wang ("In Real
Life"), Matt Groening ("The Simpsons"), Patrick McDonnell
(“Mutts”), Stan Sakai (“Usagi Yojimbo”), Megan Brennan (“Adventure Time”),
Raina Telgemeier (“Smile”), and Jeff Lemire (“Sweet Tooth”).
