With the release of Transformers 4 in theaters, retailers are starting to stock a lot of new Transformers product on their shelves. The coolest of the bunch is definitely Hasbro's Transformers Hero Mashers line. The packaging is in the same style of their Marvel Mashers line and they are fully compatible with each other. So now, your dream of a custom Optimus Spider-Hulk figure can now be a reality!
Like the Marvel line, there are regular and deluxe figures, like Optimus Prime and Megatron, that come with extra accessories. Thankfully, they look like their animated counterparts and not like their Bayformers movie designs. The only one that seems to be from the new movie is the Autobot Drift.
Starscream is one of the basic figures and doesn't come with any accessories. Starscream breaks down into ten pieces, which can then be used with other Mashers to customize figures in hundreds of combinations. The sculpt and paint apps on this figure are awesome. Definitely looking forward to picking up more and seeing which combinations I can come up with.
