The theme for September's Loot Crate was "Summon." The fine folks at Loot Crate have conjured up another box of geeky items, some exclusive, that perfectly convey that theme. Immediately, when I hear that word, Pokémon comes to mind, and of course, you can find a fun Pokémon item in September's crate. They covered many different genres as they also included items from Supernatural, The Simpsons, and Hearthstone inside the box. Also included is the monthly Loot Crate magazine, which included punch-out cards and instructions for a "Summoner Wars" card game. Lastly, this months box can be folded inside out to create your own book/box to keep all your loot in.
To be honest, as fun as the items inside were, this months box is a bit of a miss for me. Yes, the value is greater than what you pay for your subscription. Yes, I did like what was inside. But, aside from The Simpsons collectible, I'm probably never going to use any of the other items. So it looks like this months box is going to be given to friends/family that can really enjoy them (so still a win).
